This just gets better every time I listen to it. Drake lets off a series of one-liners that basically ether Meek. He disses himself to disrespect Meek. He uses Nicki to disrespect Meek, and as @misterjt put it all without tearing her down. He zings. It’s funny. And we can twerk to it. Get into it.
As relevant now as it was when this album came out 29 years ago

This is one of my all-time favorite Michael Jackson songs and videos. He was so amazing. I cannot believe it has been six years. We miss you, Michael.
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the premiere of Rihanna’s video for “Bitch Better Have My Money.” She directed it, and it’s awesome.
I love me some Rihanna, but when I think of “Bitch Betta Have My Money,” what pops into my head is the AMG version from the early 90s. My cousin Sharmayne and I wore this song out. Now you can too.
We lost him six years ago today, but he will never be forgotten. His contributions to the world of music and performance are still reverberating through the artists we have today.
We love you Michael, and we miss you.
Featured on the soundtrack to GTA V, this song is a stone-cold groove. It is perfect for your summer barbecue with your aunties and uncles. Here is your ear-worm for the day. I just added this to “They Sang That.”
Yesterday, I mentioned the “They Sang That” playlist. One of the songs on it is “(Let’s Go) All The Way” by The Whispers.
Never mind that my brother is priming his woman for their very first time; get into these dance moves.
“They Sang That” is a playlist I created on Google Play Music. It’s a collection of songs performed by two or more people. There are currently 54 songs on it, but I continue to add to it regularly.
I suppose this is what the kids refer to as blue-eyed soul. When this song popped up on a Google Play Music Playlist, I had to look to make sure that Justin Timberlake didn’t have a new song.
If you know anything about me, you know that my love for all things Michael Jackson runs very deep. He was just as good with his brothers as he was solo; Michael was in his element when he was performing.
Here is a video of him performing “Dancing Machine” with his brothers on the Johnny Carson show. Peep his dance solos. Listen to his voice. Love everything that is Michael Joseph Jackson.
This is one of my favorite songs from the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack. Nothing beats rolling through the streets of Los Santos putting in work as this blasts through your speakers. Today’s get crunk playlist begins with this gem from The Game featuring Rick Ross and 2 Chainz.
Sometimes you need a song that combines the slow wine aesthetic of dancehall reggae and the grittiness of hardcore street rap. I am getting all of that right now from this DJ Khaled produced track. I got my gun on me!
We all know that Tupac Shakur was a special human being. My heart melts watching him perform “Keep Your Head Up” acapella in a classroom full of students. This video has made it’s way around the Internet and back again, but I’m sharing it anyway. Enjoy.
Crooked I’s “Everythang” is the perfect combination of West Coast Gangster Rap and Twerk anthem, at least in my opinion. You can get crunk to it, and you can shake your ass to it. I do both.
I’m here for our West Coast rappers because as I’ve said before in various spaces, they make their music for US. The fact that people everywhere else enjoy the music as well is just bonus points in my opinion.
So now enjoy the lyrical mastery of “Everythang” and thank me later.
When you’re done being ratchet, check out the protest song he made called “I Can’t Breathe” complete with a video showing scenes from protests and the death of Eric Garner. Power visual imagery to say the least.
