James Harden, the bearded dynamo guard for the Houston Rockets, signed a 4-year extension with his team on Saturday that will net him a total of $228 million over the next six years. Do you think Khloe Kardashian has hit him up with that “hey big head” message yet? Because I know I did.

I wrote a commentary about Doc Rivers and his failing legacy with the Clippers.

He has not been able to elevate this team above their junior varsity status the way everyone thought he would, and with each successive loss — be it a game or a player — it becomes clear that it’s time for Doc Rivers to go as both a president and a coach. His decisions in both capacities have been questionable at best, and destructive at worst.

Kevin Durant is reportedly planning to opt-out of his player option with the Golden State Warriors for the 2017-2018 season and become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, but he will still sign and stay on with the team that he won his first ever NBA championship with.

All those jokes about the Golden State Warriors blowing a 3-1 series lead to lose the 2016 championship can come to an end now. In a most beautiful and poetic finish, the Warriors, who came into Monday night’s game leading the Finals series 3-1, pulled off a flawless victory and won the game with a 9 point lead, leaving no doubt that they are the champions.
