as i sit here trying to exhale…

I have just experienced the two longest days of my life.

In “A League of Their Own,” Tom Hanks said, “There’s no crying in baseball!”

There should be no crying in journalism either, yet there was crying, and there was a lot of it, and I can honestly say that all of it didn’t come from me.

Some of it did, however, and I’m going to talk about it; I just won’t be talking about it tonight.

I’m exhausted, and I volunteered to help with delivery tomorrow, so you will have to stay tuned to hear the story of epic fail that has been my week so far.
